Sick for COGAT

| My DS is supposed to be taking the CoGAT this week but he has the flu. I doubt he will be better by the end of the week. How is this handled? He took the NNAT last year - will FCPS use only that or will he have the opportunity to make up the CoGAT? |

| Mine was sick and missed sol for Covid, but was able to take it right after returned to school. Cogat should be the same, just make sure teacher gives instruction ( some would have student practice test taking skill in class few days before exam). |

| I am not so sure. Our principal sent an email that seemed to imply that if they have another ability test on record they wouldn't be able to make it up. |

| If they did well on NNAt don’t send them to school to take it while sick |

Op here. Good point. He is still in bad shape so definitely home again. So much stuff going around this fall. 😩 |
