Apparently surfer Bethany Hamilton’s 3 year old nephew was found unconscious in a bathtub. They are hoping for a miracle. Parents, please don’t leave your toddlers alone in any amount of water alone, unsupervised or unattended ever.

This is not an accident. This is neglect. It could have been prevented if they had not neglected being with the child when the kid was in the bathtub.

People keep popping out kids but do not have the bandwidth, mentality or resources to take care of them. Having kids mean that you have to forget about your own life and comfort and have to watch them and take care of them like a hawk. For how long should parents be vigilant? Until your children are fully launched adults who are not only capable of making the right decisions but consistently choose the right decisions.
