I want to upgrade my bedding!

Stayed at a nice airbnb recently and realized I should spurge on better bedding. What are your recs for (somewhat) affordable comforters and pillows?

Can you post a link to the Airbnb you stayed at?

Affordable is a wide range for bedding but The Company Store is reliable imo.

I finally replaced my comforter. I got a new one at Costco. Figured I could easily return it if I didn’t like it. $99 for a King. It is light and fluffy and I love snuggling under it. It’s very warm though. I think it will be great in the winter. However—I’m 52–the warmth factor could just be me.

I have liked the bedding from The Company Store (Charisma brand in particular), Garnet Hill, and Parachute.

We LOVE Comphy sheets after experiencing them at a hotel.

I like the White Company and Matouk. I love the Serena and Lily look but got some sheets from there recently which were scratchy.

To this list I would also add Lands' End and LLBean, particularly for flannel.

I'd just email the airbnb people and ask what sheets they had, given that you liked them so much?

It is VERY hit or miss, but for affordable bedding - TJ Maxx or Home Goods.

We like the linen duvet from Quince or Coyuchi over LLBean cotton percale sheets. However I have found the key to getting that nice crisp hotel feeling is to make the bed with more frequently and freshly laundered linens.
