Financial aid AT DMV privates good for ADHD kid

| My kid is in 4th grade in DCPS, but as we start to think about middle school, I’m beginning to consider private for my adhd kid with major executive function problems (but no behavioral problems). We have a joint income of about 280k but in the dmv with two kids, private school tuition feels out of reach. Are we above income for financial aid? I know nothing about private school—it wasn’t on my radar until now. How do I figure out if we would be eligible for financial aid at the local ADHD-friendly privates? |

| What schools are you specifically looking at? You’ll probably get better responses about financial aid on the private schools forum unless it’s private SN schools. |

| Maybe you can change some of your other finances to afford it. At that income if its important to you you can afford it, but its about lifestyle choices. |
