Where to donate embryos

Anonymous
Can anyone here recommend a service that accepts embryo donations for couples?

We have 7 untested embryos banked when we were 33/34 as "insurance" because DH wasn't comfortable starting a family until we stopped moving for jobs.

Now 40/41 with 2 kids conceived naturally at 36/37 and 39/40, and we're ready to put our old embryos up for adoption.

Often you can do this through your IVF clinic. If not, there are national centers.

I listed to some interviews with families who used the center linked below. It’s a more intense vetting process that they use than most fertility clinics. They require a home study like what you see with adoption of already existing children. I think they also require married couples (possibly M/F?). The level of openness is up to the individual preferences of the parents. I heard from a mom who has a very open relationship with the donating family and her child knew their biological siblings, and a mom who had a closed donation/no contact. There are other gradations of contact too. Lots to consider! https://www.embryodonation.org
