Aurora and northern lights tonight - where can you see it

Where are best areas in dmv to see it right now? We are in bethesda right now. Should we drive out beyond Frederick? Or closer? In dc?

I just went outside in Laurel to try to see it…not a chance. Too much light pollution.

Did you try using your phone/camera to look? Sometimes you can barely see with the naked eye but your phone amps up the colors.

I’m right outside of Tysons and noticed the sky looked a little pink, when I took a picture in night mode, bam, there it was.

I am in Silver Spring and I could see it facing north through my phone very clearly. This is despite all the street lamps.
