Scaled back psycho ed testing - cost effective options?

Anonymous
We need to do an intelligence test (WISC or similar) and achievement test (WIAT or similar) for school applications. Our kid’s challenges are known and we have done much more extensive testing when he was younger.

Goal here is to check the box and get updated testing for the school apps without a lot of extras. We need to save $ to pay tuition. Any recs for decent cost effective testing that can be done this fall?

I recommend Hannah Sugarman at Maven psychology group- she can do this for under $3200.

Elliot Blumenstein in Silver Spring can do scaled-back testing if that's what you need.

Is your child in public school right now? Can you ask for new testing to be done?
This is what we did

Can you do it through your school district? That would be free and give you an IEP in addition which is always a good thing to have (my son is in private school and we still have an IEP through our district - he gets related services at his private school and it qualifies him for door to door bussing to our private.)

Are you doing the tests for a regular application to a traditional private school or to use as updated testing for accommodations at a new school? If the former, the admissions teams often have recommendations on where to get the basic testing they require.
