New United flights from Dulles to Nice, Venice and Senegal

Nice and Venice will be seasonal spring/summer flights, Dakar will be year round. They won't be every day of the week- 3 or 4 times a week, generally.

Also a number of flights from Newark to much smaller European cities- Nuuk (Greenland!), Palermo, Bilbao, Madeira and Faro.

I wish this news translated into more “saver” award availability! I got a terrific deal on award travel to Paris in July, but am striking out everywhere in trying to secure flights home.

For 2023, though, I didn’t even start looking until December. Maybe it’s too early? I will be investigating that NCE flight!

I don't believe the new flights have been loaded into the system, but probably will be soon. If it's something important, I would be checking daily for when they get loaded. There will probably be some saver award availability early on.

The Venice and Nice flights have been loaded. Note that they start in late May and don't operate every day, so depending on days of the week you choose, may not show up.

United only- Dulles is a United hub.

They are summer only because demand from US residents (the primary market for these flights) is very seasonal to destinations like these. Not enough off-season demand to fill planes to these smaller locations/airports.
