MoCo Question A opinions

Why would changing the the term limit from 3 to 2 terms for county executive be a good idea? I don't really see any benefit to it. I'm planning on voting against it (I'm against term limits in general). Why would someone this this is good?

Obviously question 1 is going to be a yes vote since it's for enshrining abortion access in the state constitution.

Sortition is a defense against corruption.

In a democracy, the people should lead, not a few individuals. We need more people each taking a smaller role in government.

There's already a term limit in place. Why change it? If that's your only way to remove someone, reduce their term limit to two terms instead of three, then it sounds like most people are happy with the candidate and you're out of step with your neighbor's political point of view.

I am for term limits. I think the county executive should have term limits just like any other executive should. We have two terms for president and for governor and I think it should also extend down to the county level.
