When did Jeeps & rubber ducks become a thing?

Sometime between 2000 and now?

Just curious.

It’s so silly. I see this every day.

In 2020 if I remember correctly. The woman who started the duck trend recently passed away. I think she was Canadian. You can Google it for recent stories.

As a long time Jeep owner, I dearly wish this would stop being a thing.

I have a Jeep. I’m amazed that you are so bothered by a harmless trend that makes others happy. Is it that hard to throw out a little duck if someone accidentally leaves one for a miserable person?

I hand them to kids if they are around. Otherwise I just add it back to the donate bin in my car when we get home. No need to be bothered by a simple trend.

That’s really sweet. That would have made my DD’s day!

My DS loves looking for jeeps to try to see the unique ducks! Thank you for those who participate, it helps me get him to run errands willingly ("Maybe we will see a duck car in the grocery store parking lot!")
