Meanwhile, in LCPS

LCPS voted to let parents sign an optional form about safe gun storage. And people actually argued against it.

"Why are they involved in gun storage issues in people's private homes?"

Gee, why might that be?

Well since it's optional, it won't do a darn thing. The school board and administration are wasting yet more time on virtue signaling when they could be, I dunno, figuring out how to keep known illegal MS-13 members with weapons charges and a history of making death threats out of our schools.

It would have been more effective to have parents or legal guardians sign a letter at the beginning of every school year, saying they understand the school system will hold them personally liable if their children bring a weapon to school. And that they expect all weapons to be secured inside the home the child lives in. Knives stored properly and guns in gun safes.

At least that way the line is clearly drawn between school violence and parental responsibility.

The school system can't hold anyone liable for anything, they're not a law enforcement organization. And people don't need to sign things stating that they're aware of liability to be liable. This is stupid.

Does Suzanne Satterfield pay Loudoun County property taxes? Then she has a right to speak up.
