or any other 90k school.
I'm looking at some cruises and everything looks like a deal compared to college. 200 days cruising around the world on Oceania, includes booze and tips. 55k with balcony viking? silversea? also under 90k. |
| Yeah but the ROI on a cruise is terrible. |
| just waiting for Northeastern at Sea |
| I would pay $90k not to go on a 200 day cruise. |
Semester at Sea already exists. It draws from any school. https://www.semesteratsea.org/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semester_at_Sea |
| I love this post 😂. I’m with you OP! |
Semester at Sea is an accredited program. It's study abroad, only you experience multiple countries instead of one. It's am amazing program, and back when I attended (80s) there were work study options to help keep it affordable |
| I think we all know about semester at sea? |
| Stay 400/dat hotel and world’s best professors on YouTube 😀 |
lol 😆 |
55k for 200 days is cheaper than my mom's assisted living facility |
That's what others think too: https://globalnews.ca/news/10004079/retired-couple-51-consecutive-cruises-cheaper-than-retirement-home-australia/ |
Well, a cruise ship usually doesn’t provide your ADLs (bathing, grooming, toileting, medications, and so on) so kind of a different service. |
You win! |
| My kids are out of college now, but I used to equate annual tuition to buying a new high end car EVERY September for 4 years and nothing to trade in. As I told my DH, I couldn’t spend this amount of money this quickly in real life. |
