Many DC voters are getting a campaign flyer from the DC Democratic State Committee urging people to vote no on initiative 83. While this by itself doesn't seem too bad (despite, apparently, the organization not holding a vote with its members on the matter), the Party also listed most of its delegates by name and the various Ward organizations implying that they too oppose the initiative. This is a problem because the party failed to ask its members if their names could be included in the anti-83 flyer.
The people who run the local party are just so incompetent. |
| Instead of infighting, perhaps your time and ours would be better spent discussing trump. Ever consider that? You’re not helping. |
Does Trump support Initiative 83? |
Maybe pp doesn’t have tds. Ever consider that? |
Sounds like deflection from you. |
+1 |
So it’s made up? |
OP doesn't appear to be infighting, but pointing out another self-inflicted mistake by the DC Democratic Party, who apparently used $50,000 (of a $289,000 transfer) from the Harris campaign on the mailer in question opposing the initiative. |
| 83 is a great initiative that will probably pass. However, I fully expect that Bowser and the Council will either refuse to implement or outright overturn it. Congress will be no use as Rs aren’t exactly fans of RCV either. |
It won't be Bowser, it will definitely be the Council, which is full of mediocre public servants who probably should be terrified of it. They can't refuse to implement it but they can decline to fund it, which I guarantee will happen. |
| Sad but true. These CMs are cowards |
DP. What on earth does TFG have to do with this discussion?? Your obsession is noted, but take it to another thread.

What about Israel? Have you seen what they are doing? Do you even know what day it is?!? |
