| Female, 43. I'm flying to Asia and will be entering a lot of homes, taking off shoes. I wear pants. I need socks that will look good, keep me warm on cold floors and am also considering buying compression socks for the long flights (though I don't normally wear compression socks.) Any advice on brands or types? Thanks |

I love Smartwool socks for everyday.
Wellow works well for compression socks for flights. |
| I really like the Dr Motion ones available on Amazon and in DSW stores. |

They don't care about your socks unless it has holes in them. Just make sure they are clean.
I'm east Asian and just back from there visiting family. |

When you get compression socks, make sure you get the ones with the feet, so the whole sock, not just the ones for your calves.
I wore one just for the calves on a long haul , and omg, the area just below the sock above my feet were so swollen. I'll never do that again. |
| Bomba!! The best |
| I also like smartwool. |
| I wear Bombas, Smartwool, and Darn Tough |
| Remember that the floors in Korea (and Japan I think too) are heated - that’s the system there) so don’t worry about cold feet so much. |
| I hate how much I love Bombas - both regular and compression socks. I wish I could say they are not worth the price but I reach for my Bombas socks over the Smartwool and other brands every time. |
That's helpful, thanks! |
