It has been brought to my attention that there is a link between consumption of emulsifiers and colon cancer.
https://nypost.com/2024/09/10/lifestyle/emulsifiers-may-be-to-blame-for-colon-cancer-rise-doctor/ https://academic.oup.com/eurpub/article/32/Supplement_3/ckac129.015/6765396 https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/313938 However it seems emulsifiers are in everything, even healthy options such as yogurt. What are you doing to go emulsifier free? |
They are not talking about yogurt. They are talking about highly processed foods. |
| The article literally tells you what to do- avoid processed foods. And if you’re worried about a food, read the label. |

I have a family member who developed gastro issues within the last few years. Everything she eats, gives her problems. She went overseas and it was the first time in years she ate and had no issues. She felt perfectly fine.
I don't know why the US thinks we're the greatest country in the world when it regularly poisons its own citizens through the garbage food allowed by the govt and "deregulation." And that doesn't only include processed foods. What is allowed to go on at slaughterhouses and farms are also what contribute to the health issues we face. |
what can we do? those special interests give money left and right (to the left AND right) |
I don't know, but what I do know is when I'm seeing KitKat CEREAL on the shelves, it has to start with people rejecting what manufacturers are putting out there. Growing up in the 80s, I ate sugary cereals and I know how bad they were. I didn't think it could get worse. |
Well people did start rejecting soda, which was kind of shocking and something I never thought would happen! All the soda companies had to start beefing up their water and energy drinks. |
| I read ingredients list and choose the options that do not have emulsifiers |
| Learn to cook simply and shop at MOMs or local Farmers Markets. Eating whole, unprocessed foods is a game changer. You will feel better, look better and think better. |
Yeah, all the kids are now drinking lower sugar, prebiotic/probiotic sodas |
