| Since it's October, we've already had a major hurricane in the open Atlantic, and it looks like we might get another storm following that in the Atlantic. While this season has been unexpectedly quiet compared to how hurricane experts have predicted the season, I do most likely expect some activity to rise again during this month and for the first half of November. |

| Kirk is not going towards the US. Leslie so far looks headed for Bermuda but early to tell. Blob in gulf currently. Nothing else right now. |
