The PSAT/NMSQT includes an optional Student Search Service questionnaire which requests personal identifying information from students (racial/ethnic background, parent/guardian’s highest levels of education, etc.) This service can help students with particular backgrounds or interests receive information about educational and financial aid opportunities.
If we are not a particular background, any reason to fill or not to fill this out? |

| I would not opt in to that and let the College Board sell my kid’s info to everyone. I told my kids not to opt in. No need to ruin their inbox for the next five (!) or so years. |

The school automatically registers all 10th graders to take it. Just be sure to send them in that day with a fully charged Chromebook. |
