How to stop Canvas/email notifications from previous school?

I’m still getting the daily email with morning announcements from the middle school my DS attended last year. I’ve logged into Canvas and don’t see any option to stop the emails. Unsubscribe doesn’t work. Ideas before I email the school. I’m not convinced that will work anyway.

I don't know. I wish MCPS was better about this kind of stuff because it creates digital clutter and noise.

Do you still have a middle school course showing up under All Courses?

Are they actual canvas notifications or just school email list serv stuff?

Has anyone had success viewing the desktop version of Canvas?

I follow a few links which eventually gets me to the ParentVue login. After I log in, I click on the icon near the bottom with the canvas logo, I get a prompt for desktop or app. I click the desktop link and then I just end up on some error page.

Go to Account, then Notifications. Then under Settings for, select the MS course(s) in the pulldown, and disable notifications for those courses.

The desktop link has always worked fine for me.
