Best travel clubs to develop at U14 level

Good Morning! My daughter is going to try out for U14 this season. She has been playing voleyball for 3 years now, 2 years at her MS, 1 year at JV level (we don't have a Freshman JV team, so she was mostly warming the bench the entire year). She also played DYS regional travel team last year. She is a fairly good player, she plays DS. She is relatively short (5'4"), but is strong - has good serves and can do good hits, but can't jump yet - so she was told to work on her "vertical", but we don't know where and how to "work it".
For this year, I am mostly looking for a club that is close to us (we are in Ashburn, Loudoun) where she can really develop her skills and get better. She really loves the sport but hasn't had much "coaching" to correct and improve her skills. Then clubs we are considering are Vienna Elite U14 (top choice), Libero Regional U14, Capital Volleyball U14 (out in Purceville), DYS U14 (but it's very unlikely she makes their travel team - the competition is insane), and VAAVBC U14. Are these good choices for our goal? Would you recommend other options? Travel time is a big factor for us. Thank you! |
