Homecoming suits for boys

Where is everyone finding their home coming suits?
None of DS friends ds have bought yet and this will be our first dressy occasion
I'm not sure where to try for a modern good fit

Macy’s is where I found the most variety and most “athletic” cut fit

Last year we looked at Jos A Bank and Macys. Jos A Bank was the better deal based on what each had in stock that night with their specials. Go to both if they are convenient.

Not homecoming but I had to come up with a suit for an extracurricular FAST in fall of ‘21. I knew DS was going to outgrow it quickly and the prices at Nordstrom and Brooks Brothers were off the charts (and they were still made in china). I ended up ordering ASOS. If you do a membership the shipping is fast. You might need to order a couple of sizes to try, but you can definitely find something that looks much nicer than it is and get it quickly.

My DS has always worn khakis and a button down - no tie. His friends do the same
Just mentioning if you wanted to put off a suit purchase

Suits seem pretty rare at my son's school for homecoming. He was in a collared shirt, nice tie, dark pants and dress shoes, and he was one of the more dressed-up males I saw going in. Most kids did dark pants and collared shirt with some sort of dressy sneaker, not even a tie.

i wouldn't spend a lot because it probably won't fit more than a couple wears.

We did Mens Warehouse for homecoming and prom. Good experiences both times.

Agee with PP that for homecoming DS did pants, shirt, tie - not a full suit. I didn't see many suits for homecoming - just prom.

Was behind a small group of kids picking up carry out before their dance. Guys were all in variations of black pants and shirts. Girls were all in party dresses. All were wearing various colored sneakers.

Same at my son’s school. We didn’t need to buy anything new, which was nice.

Not typical for most kids
