It sounds like she married somebody she loves who she has known for several years.

I don’t know anything about her, but nothing about that specifically tells me she has low self-esteem. I would think the opposite. She’s confident enough to marry somebody she loves who may not be stereotypically Hollywood beautiful.

She’s a 39-year-old woman. So while technically that is still young, it’s not like she’s some 20-year-old making a rash decision. She has quite a bit of life experience – going to get sober at age 14. shes had a pretty interesting life since. This isn’t some young starlight with a random alligator man. She’s always marched to the beat of her own drummer.

I’m sure this does sound odd to people who only discovered Lana when she sang on Taylor Swift’s midnights album. Lana has had an extensive career, some interesting views/perspectives and if marrying this guy surprises you, you should go read about her because those who have followed her, this doesn’t seem surprising at all.

No soy boy for her! She wanted and got a truly masculine man and he is ruggedly handsome. So happy she did not go the stereotypical George Clooney type and I hope she is over the moon happy. Congrats Lana!

There was an article (sorry, no links) that said she liked him because he didn't have a clue who she was, at first and they made this connection and then she told him. That cuts out a ton of BS where she maybe second guesses and questions the motivations of someone.
