Trying to get out of them, duh.

They are aceing being a college student! Showing up to protest is their damn right! They should receive straight As this semester! YOU have failed!

It is impressive how insular and isolated university communities actually are. I remember being part of a few myself not that long ago. Lots of misinformation and group think circling the same incestuous circles.

Student protests have changed the course of history - Vietnam, Tiannamen, May 4th, Soweto, and many of the gun violence protests in the US. I'm heartened to see the students leading the charge against genocide here. LEt's hope that they put enough pressure on our government - and government around the world - to put an end to Israeli terror.

I was going to say that I would be disheartened if there weren't protests. It's not shocking they are happening as Universities are traditionally where we have passion and knowledge coinciding. This is where young people make a stand and it's the right thing to stand against what's happening to an entire people.

They are outdoors and Covid numbers are pretty much non-existent (not like college students care about it anyways). They are all wearing masks for one reason - to hide their identity. What a bunch of hypocrites. If they believed in their cause so much, why not show your face?

I think they’re cowards. While I have mixed feelings about the protests, I think the people who show their faces have more legitimacy in my eyes than the cowards who hide behind masks.

She says from behind her keyboard supporting genocide. Gotcha.
and what’s your first name and last name? Would you like to post your picture?

Hamas could have stopped this long time ago by returning the hostages. I see a lot of blame towards Israel, but none towards Hamas.

I am also not the one out there, protesting for what I believe in. If I would, I would not have my face covered.

Even on the universities, these are just a small group of students. Vast majority of students at Columbia, USC, Harvard, GWU, NYU, etc are not participating and are merely walking by as they head to classes. Most of these campus protests are just a few dozen students, with the largest protests maybe being 200-300 students MAX.

The media focus on these protests is waaaaaaaaaaay outsized relative to the actual number of protestors. It's stupid.

Israel could have stopped this 75 years ago by not engaging in ethnic cleaning....but here we are

Civil rights movement was also led by students. The Freedom Riders were all student activists, and we still marvel at their bravery today. The youth always change the world.

And in keeping with historical traditions, the angry 40+ year old holding onto old world atrocities are trying to yell and beat them down.

Yep Israel would rather kill their own leaders vs make a peace deal. This is all the US’s fault because of our unconditional support.

The Biden administration has determined that three military battalions with the Israel Defense Forces committed "gross human rights violations" against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank but will remain eligible for U.S. military aid regardless because of steps Israel says it's taking to address the problem, ABC News has learned.

https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/biden-sanction-israeli-military-units-accused-human-rights/story?id=109651562

For the US to find gross human rights violations means death squads. Still not enough to give Biden any pause.

And Gavrilo Princip was part of a Serbia student revolutionary society. He - or his actions - are arguably the most influential of the 20th century.

These kids don't even have an ounce of the courage and moral values the Civil Rights Movement had. They are mixed up terrorist cheerleaders fighting for the rights of Hamas to kill Jews freely, asking for Jews to stop fighting back when attacked.

Says the women that supports an actual genocide. The students are all right. It's the ones that believe in mass death and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians that I worry about. You'd have enslaved Africans if you could.

Wow really? You call genocide fighting? Israel must give right of return, compensation and full citizenship to all Palestinians. In addition the human rights criminals in Israel will be put on trial. There is no other way.
