Family-friendly hotels in Venice, on a canal?

I'd love ideas. We'll be there in late June/early July. Thanks!

I have posted this before but Pensione Accademia in Dorsoduro— has a nice family room and a great location (actually very near by to Palazzo Stern)

Make sure whatever you book has AC, it will be hot. I second Dorsoduro area—pretty with active campos (squares with kids running around cafes)

I stayed here in May. It was affordable and offered canal views. The neighborhood is not overcrowded with tourists, yet there are good restaurants within walking distance .

Also in Dorsoduro with a lovely view of the Giudecca canal and the restaurant: https://www.lacalcina.com

Not on the canal, but we had a fantastic experience this summer at the JW Marriott. It is on its own private island and is a resort - pools with food/drink service, bikes, rose garden, and more. Free boat shuttle to/from St Mark's Square that runs from morning to late at night. We'd go explore Venice in the morning and come back for an afternoon pool break, then head back in the evening for dinner which was a great way to experience Venice with fewer crowds. My son loved the boat rides.

Luxurious rooms with plenty of space and strong A/C.
