Cluster of honey mushrooms in the back yard ?

And the older ones decomposed very black ink looking and bad odor.
What do you suggest to take care of it.
There were some big trees that have been cut few years ago.

I'm confused... I've never had to do anything about mushrooms. They dissappear so fast and never cause an issue.

You could grind up the stump or clear out the dead wood if it's really a problem.

Gather them up and compost them. Or burn them.

Oh the honey mushroom clumps can smell pretty bad, but it usually doesn't last long. If I'm having people over, I'll just put them in the compost tumbler or bag up in the trash, but if no ones really using the yard they disappear within a week.

Is it just internet lies, or does spraying them with peppermint/ water and cayenne deter them?

Fairies don't sound too tough. LMAO! I'll take flitting fairies over zombies any day.
