Prime vs Walmart+

Any feedback from folks that have used both?

Prime is going down the tube, late deliveries, non-deliveries and damaged/missing deliveries seem to happen a lot these days. Wondering if Walmart+ has the selection, timeliness and pricing that Prime has.

Walmart is pretty good without plus. As long as I hit the $35 minimum (I just wait until I have that much in my cart or add some nonperishable like paper towels that won't be wasted), the stuff comes lightning fast, usually 1-2 days.

Prime has been a nightmare lately. Everything is arriving delayed and they don't even send you auto emails to warn you that the stuff is lost/delayed/cancelled due to who knows what. I am going to try Walmart Plus and see if it's better, but somehow I doubt it.

I have both and love Walmart. I get grocery staples at Walmart and have them delivered for free. Their prices can’t be beat.

I've got walmart the same day within hours. Prime has delay after delay plus they can't see to deliver it to my house. Like impossible for them to delivery correctly.

OP walmart is better.

Prime also has this 'green' option where they push you to consolidate delivery which is typically more than 2 days. What they are really doing is push the delivery through USPS resulting in missing items and tampered/damaged packages.

I have both. I use Walmart mostly for food/toiletry deliveries and prime for streaming shows and ordering other stuff.

Prime is mailing in the item packaging so if its embarrassing everyone can see it or thin brown bags and items are ripping through. So cheap. And this is if it even gets there.

I always get a warning on that and an option to put my items in "Amazon packaging" which obscures what's inside. I think I have to say it's a gift. And I don't even have Prime.

I have Prime and I haven’t noticed any of these issues.

The main benefit of Prime—largely unused, as far as I can tell—is the credit card with 5% cashback on all Amazon and Whole Foods purchases. That alone, essentially, makes Prime a free service.

Walmart also has 90-day returns compared to 30 for Prime. Also easier to return in store vs. dealing with shipping issues (risk of things getting lost).

Finding it hard to believe all of these posters who love walmart are real.
