Flats with arch support?

I recently purchased two pairs of Tom’s flats that I really like. Unfortunately now my feet are killing me. I am guessing it’s because they are not a particularly supportive shoe. I purchased some arch support inserts but they made it so the shoe no longer fits properly, it’s super tight and now my heel steps out and I can’t wear them.

Can anyone recommend a better type of insert to use in low profile flats? Alternatively, I would appreciate recommendations for professional looking flats that have some amount of arch support!
