Drop class date

Anyone know what is the last date to drop classes without it being listed on the transcript?

We are also under the impression that students are not allowed to drop right now and switch to another AP class. Are there separate rules for AP classes versus non-AP?

In our school, dropping an AP requires more signatures. Today is the last today to change your schedule (which I assume means take a different class). 9/25 is the last day to withdraw without the grade appearing.

It’s too late to start another AP class. Your kid has missed 4 weeks of instruction and a fair amount of assessments. If they are dropping an AP, they will need to pick another elective.

But if you drop next week - presumably you have to be allowed to replace with something, right?

Yes. Typically it’s an elective that is just interest based - art, PE, law, Forensic Science etc.
