What would he say? My husband is not generally a happy person and after he got done telling me one day how alcohol doesn’t make him happy, I asked him to name 5 things that do make him happy ( bc I sincerely wanted to know).
His response : 1. The animals 2. The children 3. 4. 5. And that was that. |

Music-- playing it and going to shows Watching basketball and football Food and the drinks he makes for himself His college roommates |

I think Dh would say:
1. Me 2. The outdoors/hiking/fishing 3. His friends (he's had many since childhood) 4. Money (making it, investing it, managing it, saving it) 5. Sports (playing and watching) |

Friends pets Volunteer groups/activities Part time job/passion Would add a 6th for sports teams that he loves to follow. |

If I asked my hubby the same question, he'd say:
1. Watching the pets play (and playing along with them) 2. Our kiddos, especially when they're not bickering 3. Sleeping during raily days 4. Our weekend movie dates 5. Our annual beach trip But here's the thing, OP - sometimes guys have a hard time putting this stuff into words. It doesn't mean they're not happy, just that they might not think about it the same way we do. |

Ok, I'm this PP. I asked my DH. After repeating "I don't know" in an exasperated voice about 4 times, I got this: "You, friends, money, independence." When I asked what "independence" means he said "I don't know." That was the best I could get out of him, lol. |
