GDS 360 Afterschool Cost?

Anonymous
I am making a spreadsheet to compare tuition costs, what is and isn’t included, and other fees like after care so we can look at the schools holistically.

GDS parents, what is the price for GDS 360 Extended Day afterschool? I am not seeing a fee listed on the program policy sheet, just the drop in price.

Thank you!

Also is there a new student fee? I see other schools have them, ranging from $1,500-$2,500

Call the school.

We have an interview scheduled but I figured I’d ask the dcum hive mind and not bother the school in the interim

I did the same when we were looking. For some schools I didn't get the aftercare cost until we'd applied or at least attended an event at which I could ask.

My GDS kid is in HS, so it's been several years since we paid attention to aftercare, but my memory is that it depended on student age and whether you signed up for an enrichment class or just the "homework club."

It depends on the class but generally speaking each class is about $500/session and the sessions are broken up to 3 sessions during the school year. You can see almost all info here: https://www.gds.org/academics/extended-day/gds-360-afternoon-programming (go to the policies and fees section and the class offerings).

The overall programming and staff are great.

$500 is very expensive for one trimester of afterschool enrichment.

You would rather get possibly inaccurate and outdated info from a few anonymous posters here than make a 5-minute call to the school to get accurate current info?

Most of the questions on dcum can be figured out by a call to the school. It's okay for people to ask here and not bug the school for every little thing especially when an interview is already scheduled
