| DC was on a Div 2 team last year and wasn't a top player/starter. What are the chances they won't make the team this year (8th)? Top players from the team are expected to make the Div 1 team which would allow for a few new players to make the Div 2 team. DC has been going to open gyms and hasn't seen any new standouts. |

Most D1 coaches prefer to try and recruit for their D1 teams from AAU teams or woo over players from other D1 teams rather than promote and coach up their local kids so I would not count on kids moving up from the D2 team. |

Does the coach like him? Its the same coach as last year? Does your org just have two teams or is there a third, lower team?
MOST coaches will not replace last year's bench player with a new bench player this year unless the kid last year was disruptive, annoying, etc. |
