My entire household has covid right now. What are the best things to eat to knock this infection out and prevent long covid?
|
Nothing you eat or don't eat will prevent long covid or knock the infection out. You can try eating garlic. I have a friend who swears this works. If you want the virus to stop replicating, get paxlovid. |
It doesn’t matter what you eat. |
Bleach |
I love getting a ginger, chicken, and rice soup from a Thai restaurant when I'm feeling sick. Other than that, taking vitamin c and zinc may be beneficial. |
Don't eat too much, stick with easily digestible things like broth. |
I like chicken soup with easy to digest carbs such as noodles or pasta. |
This is a good plan. I make a garlic/ginger/turmeric broth with lemon juice in it, and keep it on hand for illnesses. Add some pepper and onions, then chicken and maybe rice and lentils. Perfect "sicky soup". |
Ivermectin tablets. |
Shots of Gatorade throughout the day. Eat whatever seems palatable to you. |
Fluids are the key. Plenty and often. Other than that, eat whatever sounds good. When I'm congested, I don't have much of an appetite. |
Anything nutrient dense. Garlic, ginger ale good as pps noted and ignore the haters that food can't prevent or help when you're sick. That's idiotic. Ofc it can help prevent illness. Esp long covid.
Citrus (vit C) is good. And zinc as another pp mentioned. |
This seriously can't be a question. What do you eat every other day? Eat what you would if you had a cold. Drama queen, |
Nothing. You eat nothing until it's gone and you test negative for 10 days. |
