Need help from native Spanish speaker

Anonymous
I need to welcome someone to our company via email; they are male, from Spain. I do not speak any Spanish. I want to open with "Welcome!" in Spanish. I am female. Do I write Bienvenida because I am female or Bienvenido because he is male? Or is that going to come across like I'm shortening "you're welcome" and should I instead say la bienvenida? Gracias in advance!

It's Bienvenidos!

Bienvenidos
Used to say "welcome" to a man, or as an adjective or exclamation. For example, "¡bienvenidos a bordo!" means "welcome on board". Another example is "Es bienvenido a comer" which means "He is welcome to dine".

Bienvenido
"You're welcome" is not the same verb. It's one guy, not plural.

wait, with or without the "S" at the end?

It's Bienvenidos (like, "Greetings!" which is a noun, so no need to change endings depending on who you say it to).

/not Spanish speaker but do understand how Spanish grammar works.

Agree and despite having leaned Spanish decades ago did not think about the literal translation of "well -comings" until now. Duh

OP here. Okay thanks, I sent it. And if it's wrong, hopefully he at least appreciates that I tried.

Bienvenidos is plural (welcome y’all)
Bienvenido is correct for one man

No, you don't, because you were wrong.

You are welcoming one man, so it's just Bienvenido a + the company name or whatever you're saying.

Puedes dar las bienvenidas diciendo, "Buenvenido"
