Private or gen Ed at ERHS

Trying to decide what to do for our 8th grader. I lean toward single sex private but dad is pushing for ERHS as it’s our boundary school & is a decent school. Science & tech is not a great fit for our child so they’d hopefully get into honors classes and join the capstone program as a jr. I’m just curious how parents feel about ERHS and if gen ed students get lost in the shuffle of thousands of students.
