Phone location on a flip?

HS senior has broken too many phones over years. Pumping brakes on replacing iPhone latest version.

I want to get him flip phone.

Are there any phones that use locator.


No way will he keep air tag on him.

Get a cheap smartphone instead of a flip phone.

Flipphones are tough but only cost a little less than a cheap Android touchscreen.
Not sure about tracking apps on a flipper that are downloadable, might have to add it manually and some might have some software conflict.

Kids lived for thousands of years without phones or tracking apps. Just saying.
