Anybody familiar with USCG hiring ?

I know it's a long shot but...my nephew has applied three times and then rejected three times. He has a bachelors degree, very fit and strong, 25 yo. Good kid, spotless record. Is he too old? Can't make sense of the rejections and he's not saying much. Thanks for any help.

Lol I know that sounds funny but I don't know how the armed forces hire/recruit other than it appears to me that many go in at 17, 18...then perhaps at 22 if you do ROTC with a degree

Depends on what he’s applying for… OCS or one of the more competitive ratings?

Supposedly marine inspector is easiest foot in the door. According to a friend.

Applied for Officer Candidate School? Or something else?

Try again, but change up application? it took my BIL two tries, but he just retired and so that was long ago.
