Help restyle almost 40 yr old me, I have too many flannel scarves and ankle boots. I finally got a pair of Jadon Doc Martens and tossed my Ugg short tan boots:

I wear straight leg jeans, solid color t-shirts, New Balance sneakers and a grey or dark green hoodie. To dress up, I wear a solid colored sweater - I have two and one is fuchsia and the other is dark green - and brown leather Born sneakers.

I've been wearing those two sweaters for the last five or six years. Occasionally I dress them up by wearing a Kate Spade bangle bracelet I got about 15 years ago.

I posted in the other thread, but I just went on an Anthropologie shopping spree. I love it there for fall. It’s easy for 45 year old lawyer moms like me.
I got their slim jogger cargos in black and dark green, cute plain white leather Reebok’s, their Kiara blouse which is so cute, and a Sherpa and denim jacket. For dressing up mildly, I got a lady cardigan and dark jeans with a bralette. I also got the baggy wide leg Paloma jeans to wear with tight vests. Last year I got very cute black combat-ish boots I like to wear with slip dresses and off the shoulder sweaters for dinner etc.

Ha sorry I guess because I have to go to the office sometimes still but now it’s all “business casual” ish. And I still need suits some days.

Data analyst mom (me) gave up because nobody around me dresses up at all.

My take...fold the scarves up and put them away until they are on trend again. Put more focus on the tops...sweater over blouse, a pretty necklace.
