APS graduation apparel

I believe it's the same across all the APS schools. What is the thick yellow sash? Is that NHS? I'm looking for YHS, specifically, but I think I've seen it in grad pics from WLHS and WHS, too.

Yes, thick yellow sash was NHS at Yorktown.
As an aside, students can also wear any other sashes, cords, flower leis, etc. that they want. I got my daughter and her friend a special cord because they both held statewide offices in a national language organization but there was otherwise no recognition of that accomplishment.

Yes, must make sure your kid is as highly decorated as possible and every activity and accomplishment is there for all to see how wonderful they are.
I wish I had thought to get one for my son when he graduated to recognize him for his extraordinarily unimpressive and underachieving high school performance .... because everyone should have a recognition cord for at least something.
