Seems like everyone is swearing more often; Being an older woman (59), my generation didn’t say it, the fact that I lived in NYC for a while I picked up “What the F__k,” “Oh, s__t. - on occasion, that’s it. Now I am swearing more often, so bad.
What's the problem with swearing?
Several times a day! I work in a construction office in NJ. Enough said.
All the f-ing time.
|
I know many men and women your age who swear a lot.
I like to say that I either speak like a grandmother or a sailor. Often the swears will just slip out, but most times I don't consciously do it/avoid doing it. |
Only when the situation absolutely demands it. Which is all too f@@@ing often unfortunately.
Too much
Effin’ never
Constantly in my head. Not as frequently out loud.
Depends who I'm talking to. Around DS or family other than DH, rarely. Around friends or older family friends who don't swear much...rarely. Around friends and DH who aren't bothered by swearing, quite a bit.
Never. So crude.
Several times a day. Boomer.
Never. Sign of low class and limited vocabulary.
Yes mom. Americans are actually more restrained than Brits (of all classes) and Australians. |
Like 50 times a f--ing day. I don't understand the big deal. As long as you use swear words responsibly (as expression, not to insult others) then no big deal. They're just words.
