College Combine during the NCFC Girls College Showcase 2024

I see that a College Combine event occurs during the NCFC Girls College Showcase on December 6-8, 2024. My DD is ECNL-R, a sophomore, and isnt sure if she wants to play this sport in college.
Is a College Combine during a Showcase like this ..or any others... one a good event to expose her to what college coaches might expect? Last year the cost was $195. Are they seriously looking for talent or just looking to recoup costs of travel to from the Showcase? |

| Probably some of each. If your kid is serious about college soccer, just the experience may be a good thing. We signed my son up for a local combine spring of freshman year so he could see what it was all about. As he got older, we just did camps where the schools he liked were participating. |
