Deciding on quotes to replace windows and narrowed down to two, both firms are roughly the same price for replacing 19 windows. One is unicorp and one is zen windows. Has anyone worked with these companies? Reviews? I’ve seen the unicorp reviews on checkbook but can’t find anything on Zen windows. |
Unicorp installed our windows 11 years ago in our previous home, and they were good as new when we sold the house a couple of months ago. Very pleasant and easy to work with too. |
OP here, thank you for the response. I had a zoom consult with the head of sales of Unicorp (I already had the window sizes from another quote), so it was easy enough to get a quote. I just found zen windows a little gruff when I proved them on any additional costs (eg what if they found a rotting window sill). Both firms seem to subcontract |
We used Unicorp for siding last summer and liked them. Good quality work and not the highest (or lowest) price. |
OP - thank you for the recommendation, they do seem to be easier to work with and have been receptive to any follow up questions. |
Unicorp has replaced our roof and 30+ windows plus patio doors over the past three years. Full disclosure - we know the owner. The install teams were terrific and took excellent care of our property. They were easy to deal with, super reliable, did excellent work, and we're happy with the results. One thing I appreciated about the company is that many of the workers have been with them for decades. |
Crystal Exteriors is also a great company if you want an additional quote. |
I second Crystal Exteriors. Very professional. I have heard good things about Unicorp too. |
Unicorp did our windows and a roof replacement. We will use them again when it is time to do the siding. |
