Rec basketball for 2nd grader - Kensington/Bethesda/Chevy Chase

I have a 2nd grader who is very interested in joining a rec basketball team for the fall (would be a first time player). I have found a number that are for 3rd grade or higher or a couple for 2nd graders starting in Jan, but I am wondering if there is anything still available starting in Sept/Oct/Nov?
Any recommendations appreciated! |

Hooped Nation holds classes, camps and maybe leagues too. I’d recommend signing your child up for Fall training classes then sign up for a winter league. It can be challenging for kids to start up on a team as a beginner.
