| How nervous should the dancers be about auditioning?? Is it mostly about height/size for costumes? |

| no, the audition matters. Children should be able to have appropriate facial expressions, learn the steps and perform them adequately, look engaged and be trying hard. They don’t have to be perfect performers but they have to have some kind of presence. |

For the younger performers, it's mostly about the ability to follow directions, focus, and not be disruptive. |

| But don't underestimate the height/size issue. For the sake of costumes/staging, some roles will require shorter or taller dancers. |

I wouldn’t mind, we were double cast last year in pb3 and it was basically like a 7 year old with a part time job lol
