MY DS is now a 7th grader, we are no longer getting the weekly emails on what they are working on and how their week was... Do we have to email them? I just emailed his core teacher and CC THE AP asking them why the lack of emails?
How often are they suppose to emails? |
| Um, never unless your kid is having major issues?? |
You're kidding right? Troll? No your MA teachers will rarely send any emails. Check Schoology and ask your kid. |
Why? Our kids are still babys |
| Bad troll attempt OP. |
| Every day otherwise what kind of parent are you? Better yet I’d call for the daily update. |
Go change his diaper then. |
Very bad. |
| You should contact Youngkin about it, or maybe even Fox News. |
| You should be getting some communication from the school. Check to see if it's going to spam. |
| Quit being jerks. Nothing wrong with a teacher keeping families informed. |
| What information do you want to know that you aren’t getting on Schoology? |
At what stage is it reasonable for this to end? I have two high school aged kids. I certainly do not expect to hear from their teachers. I would rather have them spend their precious time planning lessons or grading, not writing weekly newsletters. |
Ok Libby, that has nothing to do with anything. |
| Since you’re new to middle school, it’s really easy to track what your students are working on in schoolology. The parent login shows due dates, completed and missing assignments and their grades. You can also see the folders and topics for what they are working on. If you ask your child to login, you can see the lectures, assignments, and all the work your student is doing. The parent login is very helpful in helping to have conversations with your child about what they are working on. |
