Hello all,
was wondering what clubs are AAP kids taking this year at carson . Any new clubs ? . I know it depends on kids interest but just wanted to know any STEM clubs ... |

| Carson sent an email last week that listed of clubs that have informational meetings next week. AAP students join whatever clubs that they want to join. The clubs with meetings next week are all ones that have a limit on the number of students who can participate. |

| Some clubs, like model UN and debate for example, require students to try out. The student page on schoology should have a list of which clubs these are and when they are holding interest meetings and try outs. AAP students join a variety of academic and non-academic clubs. |

| Are you signed up for the Carson weekly email? They sent out another email today about the schedule for clubs. There is the schedule for the clubs that have limited slots and requirements to join as well as a link to the over all schedule for all the clubs today. |

| Why does it matter if the kid is AAP? I'm really sad that my general ed child is going to be in a school with such a terrible AAP population. I really think AAP ruins the school for everyone else. Those kids are so incredibly rude and entitled. |

I am guessing that the OP has a kid that is attending Carson because of AAP and there are not many other kids from their school at Carson. They might be trying to figure out what clubs their kid might have classmates in.
The better option is for the child to ask their classmates what they might be doing and seeing if there are kids he is getting to know in activities he likes. |

| some people are overly imaginative . I guess this forum is AAP , any questions here may be related to it. As PP mentioned they might me new to the middle school or AAP you never know it .so stop your exaggerations . |
