Nursing/Pumping Moms- Size

Anonymous
I am curious, how long did it take you to get back to your regular "size" after you stopped nursing/pumping?

By size, I mean the size of your machachas. How long did it take them to go back down?

I am very anxious for mine to deflate.

Are we talking about breasts?

That early crazy-huge phase lasted until my kids were 4-5 months old for me, but my breasts stayed larger until I weaned. Nursed both my kids for a year, breasts went back down to former size by a few months after that. Now, their shape is another matter entirely....

Not the PP, but let's just say I'm sad to learn that A cups can indeed sag.

Yep, like old deflated balloons. It's so pathetic. I can understand, for the first time in my life, why women are interested in getting boob jobs post babies.

21:02 here...well, I was a 36D to start with. When I got measured for my nursing bras at 4m postpartum, I was a G. (as in Gaaahhhhhh!!!!!! A G!?!?!?!) After my first was weaned at 12m, it took me about 3m to get back into my regular bras, but I think that had as much to do w/ losing that 10lbs of "nursing weight." My second child weaned at 12m, is now 14 months, and I just started wearing my regular bras again. As to shape...well, gravity is not my friend. To say they are sagging would be a gross understatement. It's pretty demoralizing. I know women who don't end up like this, and I pray you are not one of them! I actually fantasize about elderly relatives passing away and leaving me money so I can get a breast lift. DH doesn't seem to mind, he's just so excited that my breasts are "back in the game" of our sex life, because they were benched while I was nursing.

I heard that nursing doesn't make your boobs sag...pregnancy does.

True or false?

I think this is true - unless you are one of those women who's milk never comes in.

21:08 here. I went to a large DD/E, started as a small D. I guess I am getting a breast lift for my 35th bday.
