NOVA Fencing Developmental, Rec and Competitive program

Anonymous
My son is interested in the developmental program. Right now, it conflicts with club soccer. Is there another way into developmental fencing? He's taken the summer camp 2x and the beginning fencing. He told me this is his passion. He's a smart, thoughtful kid who is fairly athletic but has never been passionate about the multiple sports he plays. Let me know all about the club, the coaches, the training and development program. What is it like as far as a sport?

What HS have varsity, not club fencing programs? I heard from a coworker Gonzaga has fencing as a varsity sport this year.

NOVA has a great program. My son started to get involved with it through a camp, but really loves archery, so he has moved over to that side of the gym. But the coaches are top notch all around.

The only thing I hate is that the place always smells like pee. They must use ammonia to clean.
