Hello,
I make and drink coffee at home daily. I make and drink lattes at home about 3 times/week. I make and drink cappuchinos at home every so often, and like to be able to offer to the occasional friend who pops over. I’m looking to buy new coffee/related cups. Can one cup service all of these drinks well? If not, is there any overlap- say, can I drink coffee and lattes out of the same cup, but cappuchinis need a smaller cup. Any recommendations for specific cups, or sizes I should look for? I do not like the large “bowls” that lattes are often served in when out. Thank you. |
Um, what? |
Are you the same person who posted asking about what white towels to purchase? |

It’s hard for me to buy into this. Take with a grain of sugar.
https://pageonecoffee.com/are-cappuccino-and-latte-cups-the-same/ Glass espresso glasses are nice. For cappuccinos it’s been fun to have pairs of ceramic cups and saucers from different places. Brazil, Japan, etc. That said we don’t have room for much. Get cups you enjoy looking at and enjoy holding. |
| Pp again, also have seen great sets in thrift stores. |
| I have the Yedio Porcelain 8 oz Coffee Cups with Saucers and Metal Stand cups, from Amazon in white. They are basically perfect, just like hotel cappuccino cups, not too big or small, durable. |
| You can purchase chinos at the gap. |
| If you want a heavy cup, Le Creuset has nice coffee mugs. They hold about 10-oz of liquid. |
