Yes, Gaza needs 500 trucks a day, especially since Israel has burned farmlands, bombed greenhouses, and killed livestock. People in Gaza are now completely depend on outside sources for food. |
You keep saying this crap. I hate Trump. But yeah, NOT VOTING IS an option. It is the option I plan on taking. |
Biden's loyalties to Netanyahu existed well before Trump moved the embassy, and you know that. Biden was never going to be an honest broker in the conflict. |
So let's summarize your solution: 1. Help elect Trump. 2. Trump increases support for Israel. 3. More Palestinians suffer. 4. Trump also cuts aid to disadvantaged and poor people in the US, so they also suffer more. 5. You feel morally superior b/c you didn't vote for Biden. Bravo. Ingenious. |
Then in a close race, you're effectively aiding Trump. He wins by subtraction. Sorry you don't get that. |
At least Trump would probably cut aid to Israel. Or he'd be unpredictable enough to force Israel to keep itself in line. |
I get it. Four years of chaos and the teetering of our democracy under a Trump redux. Willing to make that choice. |
+1000. I’ve been debating this for a while and have only hesitated because abortion rights are so important to me. I cannot stand Trump and would never vote for him. But after all the war crimes committed by the Israeli government, most recently the murder of the WCK employees, and our complicity, I just cannot vote for Biden. It is what it is. |
First it was Hamas made Israel do it, now it is Trump made Israel do it. When are you going to hold Israel accountable for the atrocities it is committing? |
I really hope you don't work for Democratic campaigns. You're bad at this. You'll alienate more voters than bring them along with your logic. |
Hahaha There is nothing unpredictable about Trump and there is no chance that he will cut aid. He gave Sudan $1B just to recognize Israel. Odds are that he'd have us pay to ethnically cleanse the Palestinians. |
DP who also plans on withholding my vote from Biden. I vote in a blue state. My objective is to erode his margins in a state he expects to win easily to demonstrate to the Democratic Party that there are people who will withhold their vote over this issue. There’s really nothing else I, as an individual, can do to encourage the party to change its Israel policy in the long term. I’m comfortable with my choice. Last election, I voted in a swing state and if I still voted there, I might feel differently. |
If Biden is prioritizing American democracy over Israeli interests, then I can’t vote for this guy. I am not voting for the other one either, I just can’t vote for Biden knowing that we willingly starved and murdered thousands of children so that AIPAC donations can continue to flow. |
People vote according to their priorities. Trump appointed the three Supreme Court judges that overturned Roe V Wade and ensured a right wing super majority on the Court for a generation. Trump is also the president that moved the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and instituted the Muslim ban. And Trump's advisors are all very vocal about their desire to expel Palestinians from Gaza and to see Israel annex the West Bank. I'm not sure what you value. But clearly you do not prioritize women's reproductive rights or the plight of Palestinians. By not voting you are complicit in the roll back of women's rights and the destruction of the Palestinian people. |
Biden is aiding and abetting the slaughter of Palestinians right now and you want voters to ignore that and worry about what Trump may or may not do? Stop gaslighting voters. |
