| It looks like they got a little slower for 15-16 girls at the longer distances. Slight change in 200 fly and 500 free-- big change in 1650. 400 IM standard for faster though I think? |

| My swimmer is an 11-12 girl and the times got slower across the board. A times turned to AA, and some AA to AAA. |

Similar for 10U, boys and girls. |

I heard that times were mostly slower post covid because of lost practice time etc. And since the current time standards reflect the fastest 16 times in the years 2020-2024, that is why we see the slower standards today. So I predict that they will get faster in 2028, barring another pandemic. |

| there was ban on true tech suits for 12U beginning in 2020, if the new motivational times are based on the very fastest swimmers (fastest 16?) between 2020-2024 maybe the 2020 12U tech suit ban contributed to slightly slower times between for 12U 2020-2024 so we have have slightly slower 12U 2024-28 motivational times |
