Didn’t Acadiana close several years ago?

In Arlington, you can go to Bayou bakery but it’s casual. They do have the best king cake in the area at Mardi Gras. They have a really good red beans and rice and gumbo.

In Alexandra, the Warehouse.

The chef-owner of Bayou Bakery David Guas is from New Orleans. I grew up in that area and can vouch it’s pretty good.

I am not a fan of RTs FWIW.

Another displaced Cajun: nothing I’ve found worth eating. So I make my own and eat other things when dining out. I generally get roux and stuff when I go home and bring back in checked luggage but you can also get places to ship jarred sauces and stuff.

I'm from Louisiana and agree with Bayou Bakery. Dauphine's in DC is decent too.
